Program Description:

Students will explore the cultural difference between Hawaiian and Pacific Islanders and more traditional American culture, investigate the various dimensions of permaculture and sustainable living in Hawaii, and improve cross-cultural communication skills.

Highlights include:
  • Ka Haka 'Ula O Ke'elikolani College of Hawaiian Language
  • Ho'okena Village
  • Honaunau National Park
  • Volcanoes National Park
  • Possible Luau in Kona
