Conceived in 1998 at Stanford University by film critic and educator Jasmina Bojic in conjunction with the fiftieth anniversary of the signing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the United Nations Association Film Festival (UNAFF) screens documentaries by international filmmakers dealing with topics such as human rights, environmental themes, women’s issues, children, refugee protection, homelessness, racism, disease control, universal education, war and peace. By bringing together filmmakers, the academic community and the general public, UNAFF offers a unique opportunity for creative exchange and education among groups and individuals often separated by geography, ethnicity and economic constraints. Exchange Mix 'n' Mingle

Have you ever considered studying abroad (individual travel for your CCE) short term, for semester, or even a year?! Our “direct exchange” programs offer you the chance to do this, all while using your Carroll scholarship to attend a completely different school for that time! Learn more about direct exchange programs below. We know you have questions, and OGE has answers! Study abroad is such an incredible opportunity for students to take an extended opportunity to immerse themselves in not only another country, but in their educational/university culture as well!
The Office of Global Education is hosting our first Exchange Student Reception this November. Join us on Thursday, November 17th from 5-7pm in the IDEA lab (located in Frontier Hall).

Activities include:
  • Free food
  • Attendance enters you in a raffle for International Ed Week swag!
  • Scholarship table with information on multiple scholarships for Carroll students participating in a study abroad program
  • Opportunity to meet international exchange students studying here for the semester/year
What is an exchange program?
