Located in the university city of Utrecht, the University of Applied Sciences-Utrecht has over 39,000 students and focuses on innovation and professionalization in vocational practice (through high-value knowledge and research) and on the personal development of talent. Courses are available in English in the areas of Economics and Management, Communication and Journalism, Education, Health Care, Law, Social Work, and Technology.

Utrecht is the capital and most populous city in the Dutch province of Utrecht. It is located in the eastern corner of the Randstad conurbation, and is the fourth largest city of the Netherlands with a population of 330,772 in 2014.

Acceptance into Exchange Program Carroll University is only allowed to accept a limited number of students on exchange programs each year.  Acceptances are provided on a first-come-first-served basis.  A maximum of two students per term per program will be waitlisted.  Waitlisted students will also be encouraged to select an alternate program as a backup.  Information about waitlists and alternate programs will be provided at the time of acceptance.
