Llewelyn & Mary Williams Scholarship for Study in Wales


The Llewelyn & Mary Williams Scholarship for Study in Wales is open to selected Carroll University students who are/will be enrolled in academic study in Wales for a semester or academic year.  The committee will approve up to two $900.00 awards per year. (subject to change)

Eligibility

Any Carroll University student who has been accepted into a study program in Wales is eligible to apply. 

Deadlines
Students must have been approved for a study program in Wales prior to apply for the scholarship.  Applications for the

Fall and Academic Year Programs: April 15th
Spring Programs: October 20th


Requirements
  • Students must have been approved for a study program in Wales prior to apply for the award.  Applications for the Llewelyn & Mary Williams Scholarship for Study in Wales reviewed and awarded as followsStudents must have been approved for a study program in Wales prior to apply for the award.  Applications for the Llewelyn & Mary Williams Scholarship for Study in Wales reviewed and awarded as followsEssay: Student applicants are required to prepare a 250-500 word essay explaining what they would like to learn about Welsh culture during their semester or academic year in Wales.
  • GPA: Students must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA.  Applicants must submit a copy of their unofficial transcript for review.
