Description of Institution
Known as The Liberal Arts University of Hong Kong, Lingnan is located on a small, beautiful campus in the New Territories. Offering strong courses in the humanities, arts, business and sciences, the university has a whole-person approach to education and offers many co-curricular activities, including many service learning opportunities. 
 
Description of City
Hong Kong is a former British Colony and is currently a Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, enclosed by the Pearl River Delta and South China Sea. Hong Kong is known for its expansive skyline and deep natural harbour, and a population of over seven million people, is one of the most densely populated areas in the world.

Exchange Program Acceptance
Carroll University is only allowed to accept a limited number of students on exchange programs each year.  Acceptances are provided on a first-come-first-served basis.  A maximum of two students per term per program will be waitlisted.  Waitlisted students will also be encouraged to select an alternate program as a backup.  Information about waitlists and alternate programs will be provided at the time of acceptance.
