Program Description:
The University of Limerick’s International Summer School programme is open to students from across the globe every summer. This captivating and popular programme is perfect for those who want to experience the rich Irish culture first-hand.

Spend 3 weeks with us studying in the beautiful West Coast of Ireland where the dramatic landscape is unmatched. Students can pick one of our 7 varied modules to study. Each module will provide an interesting and interactive syllabus.

Our International Summer School Programme 2023 is running from May 24th - June 14th and our STEM Research Internship  is running from May 25th - July 5th.

With more than 20 years of experience running the Summer School, we aim to provide you with a fun, engaging and memorable study abroad experience in a safe, and friendly environment.

What The International Summer School Offers:

Study: Pick a module to study for 3 weeks, all modules offer an hands on and fun experience. 

Exposure: Students will get to experience a unique, immersive, academic, and cultural, with the opportunity to pursue their academic interests.

Accommodation: Guaranteed on-campus accommodation, living with other international students in one of the eight purpose-built student villages

Excursions: Students will have the opportunity to experience cultural and historical excursions and a farewell BBQ and concert .

Events: Students will have a variety of evening events from Trivia/Games to taking on climbing walls and bringing out your inner photographer

Meals: Students will get breakfast, lunch and dinner provided for them Monday to Friday for their entire stay

Orientation: Students will receive UL Welcome Packs and take part in a tailored orientation programme in which they will learn all they need to know about being a student in the University of Limerick

Airport Transport: Airport transfers from Shannon Airport to the UL campus

Academic Transcript: Each student will have an official UL transcript sent to their home university.
