Program Description:

This course is for students interested in careers in health or human service settings serving Hispanic populations. Using Mexico as a central focus, students will gain an understanding of Mexican culture and customs with special attention toward ideas and practices regarding health. In January, students will study Spanish in Cuernavaca, Mexico, and will also live with families, and experience sites and talks relevant to culture, health, social services, migration, and politics.

**Informational Session will be held February 28th at noon in the campus center room 206 in the lower level. 

This four-credit course does fulfill the HHHS requirement as well as the CCE requirement.  The course is offered Fall Semesters (even years) with winter travel.
